Jack Cavanaugh
Jack is a partner of Brown Advisory and senior advisor on the firm’s private client team. During his tenure, Jack has served as Head of the Private Client Business, Private Client Chief Operating Officer, Head of Baltimore Private Client, and both a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and the Private Client Leadership Team. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in 2010, Jack served as Chief Executive Officer of Cavanaugh Capital Management (CCM), a fixed income investment management firm.
Chad Larson
Chad is a partner and strategic advisor at Brown Advisory. He focuses on individual clients’ planning regarding estate planning, taxation, financial planning, charitable giving and asset protection. Prior to Brown Advisory he worked at Craighill, Mayfield, Fenwick, Cromelin & Cobb as a trusts and estates attorney. Prior to this, he was practicing as a corporate and securities attorney at Dechert LLP.
Samir Shah, CFA
Sam is a Partner at Brown Advisory where he works to help evaluate and monitor risks across Brown Advisory’s investments. Sam is a member of Brown Advisory’s Investment Risk Management Committee, Pricing Committee, Credit Committee, and various other Investment Committees. Additionally, Sam is the Brown Advisory Funds Derivative Risk Manager responsible for evaluating risks related to their use of derivatives. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in 2012, Sam was a director of risk at Cadogan Management, a New York based fund of funds.
Megan Brune
Megan is a partner and serves as a relationship advisor at Brown Advisory. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Megan worked at Cavanaugh Capital Management in Towson, MD for 17 years and was a principal and the head of client service. During her tenure at Cavanaugh Capital Management, she maintained various roles within client service, portfolio management, trading, compliance and operations.
