Toshiyuki Murasawa

Toshiyuki joined Brown Advisory in April 2023 and is responsible for expanding our business in Japan.

Prior to his current role, Toshiyuki was the director of asset management distribution at Credit Suisse Asset Management in Tokyo, where he was responsible for managing relationships and developing new business with key clients covering all client segments, including financial institutions, distributors for pension funds, and retail investors. Before joining Credit Suisse Asset Management, he served as director of institutional sales at asset manager Robeco Japan. Toshiyuki began his career in finance when he joined Chuo Trust & Banking in 1996, where he worked in foreign exchange sales and trading.

Toshiyuki is a Certified Member Analyst of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan. He holds a BA from Sophia University in Tokyo.
