Dave is a director of Brown Advisory Incorporated and chair of Brown Advisory funds plc. Previously, Dave served as Brown Advisory's chief financial officer and chief operating officer, roles he held since joining the firm in 1997. In 1998, Dave co-led the management buyout transaction of Brown Advisory from Bankers Trust. As the CFO and COO for the firm's first 25 years as an independent entity, Dave built the business platform, designed the equity ownership structure, and determined how to finance and operationalize every strategic initiative, combination and new office.
With a focus on building entrepreneurial enterprises, world-class teams and strong organizational cultures, Dave's leadership extends into the community, where he serves on several nonprofit boards.
