Augusta Codrington

Gussie is the institutional relationship manager for Brown Advisory's international business. In this role she is responsible for servicing and maintaining relationships for global separately managed account clients across a range of Brown Advisory investment strategies. In addition, her responsibilities include servicing and building relationships with our international third-party distribution partners.

Gussie joined the firm in 2014, having previously worked for Pip Organic, a soft drink start up, managing sales, marketing and administration.

Louisa Cottrell

Louisa is a partner and a business development director based in the London office. She supports the growth of the private client and charity business in the U.K. and oversees the international event and sponsorship strategy. She began her career at Brown Advisory in 2011 as an executive assistant before moving into the firm's marketing team where she went on to lead the firm's international events, becoming co-head and director of international marketing and events. 

Ted Hanks, CFA

Ted is a partner and serves as managing director of private investments at Brown Advisory. Ted leads the firm’s buyout and private credit investment efforts, including sourcing, due diligence, underwriting and monitoring of investments in those areas. Ted serves as portfolio manager for the firm’s private equity (buyout, venture capital and growth equity) and private credit investment programs. Prior to joining Brown Advisory, he worked at PNC Financial Services Group in Corporate Banking.

Keith Stone

Keith is a partner, member of the Executive Team and managing director of private investments at Brown Advisory. Keith serves as a portfolio manager and leads the firm’s venture capital investments, overseeing more than $1 billion of commitments across funds, co-investments and direct investments.

James Stierhoff

James is a partner, portfolio manager and serves as co-head of Baltimore private client. In his role as PM, James advises and manages portfolios for individuals, families, endowments and foundations. In his role on the SI leadership team, James helps in the review and selection of ESG, sustainable and impact focused managers on the Investment Solutions Group (ISG) platform. Previously at Brown Advisory, James was an analyst with ISG where he covered a variety of externally managed equity and fixed income strategies.

Sid Ahl, CFA

Sid is a partner, a member of the Executive Team, serves as co-chief investment officer for private client, endowments and foundations, and as head of the New York office. He is responsible for advising individuals and institutions on investment portfolios that contain significant allocations to alternative investments and have a high tolerance for less liquid investments.

Jordan Wruble

Jordan is a partner and serves as head of the firm's Investment Solutions Group (ISG). The ISG performs manager research and selection, makes asset allocation recommendations, and creates and manages specialized partnership funds for individuals, families, endowments and foundations. Jordan is also a portfolio manager and advises some of Brown Advisory’s largest clients on their investment decisions. He sits on a number of the firm’s investment committees and has served on the operating committee.

Edward X. Tune

Trey is a partner and serves as a portfolio manager providing strategic investment advice to individuals, families and institutions. Prior to joining the firm, he was a managing director at Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) where for 14 years he served in a variety of client-facing and leadership roles in Charlotte and Chicago. Most recently, Trey was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for BBH’s wealth management unit. Prior to that, he served as a vice president and investment advisor with Stein Roe & Farnham in Chicago for 8 years. 

Jane Korhonen, CFA

Jane is a partner and serves as a portfolio manager in the Washington, D.C. office. She is head of the firm’s Private Client Investment Committee and is responsible for balanced portfolios for both nonprofit and private clients. Previously at Brown Advisory, Jane was an analyst covering the health care and the technology sectors for both the Large-Cap Growth and Large-Cap Value strategies. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in 1994, Jane worked as an equity research analyst for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in that organization’s investment group.

Nina Yudell

Nina Yudell is a portfolio manager. Prior to joining the firm, she was a portfolio manager and investment analyst for Alex. Brown Investment Management. She also worked for T. Rowe Price Associates in an investment management position. Nina was an adjunct faculty member at New Hampshire College (now Southern New Hampshire University) where she taught courses in finance.
